2.Product advantages
During the roasting process, high-temperature flue gas carries a significant amount of heat and is discharged from the furnace. Trolley-type energy-saving gas roasters are equipped with an efficient flue gas waste heat recovery system, which typically utilizes a heat exchanger to recover heat. As the high-temperature flue gas passes through the heat exchanger, it transfers heat to cool air or water flowing through it. The heated cool air can be directly fed into the burner as combustion air, increasing combustion temperature and efficiency while reducing gas consumption. For example, raising the preheated air temperature to 200°C-400°C can further improve combustion efficiency by 10%-15%. The water absorbs heat to generate hot water or steam, which can be used for workshop heating, domestic hot water supply, and other production processes, achieving cascaded energy utilization. In this way, the waste heat recovery system reuses some of the heat in the flue gas, reducing energy consumption throughout the entire production process.

The implementation of a waste heat recovery system significantly reduces the overall energy consumption of the equipment. For example, at an investment foundry producing 10 tons of mold shells per day, before the waste heat recovery system was installed, the gas-fired roaster consumed 500 cubic meters of natural gas daily. After installing the waste heat recovery system, by recovering flue gas waste heat for preheating combustion air and producing hot water, daily natural gas consumption was reduced by approximately 100 cubic meters, achieving a 20% energy saving. This not only lowers the company's energy costs but also reduces waste gas emissions from natural gas combustion, resulting in significant economic and environmental benefits.
