In the wax injection molding process, liquid wax must be melted at high temperatures before being injected into the mold for molding. To ensure wax mold quality and production efficiency, temperature control of the mold and wax plays a critical role. As the high-temperature wax cools and solidifies in the mold, the temperature must be quickly reduced to shorten the molding cycle and improve the precision of the wax mold. By supplying low-temperature cooling water, 5P chillers can quickly remove heat from the mold, ensuring rapid cooling and molding of the wax mold. (II) Chiller Connection and Usage
A 5P chiller is typically connected to the wax injection molding machine's cooling system via piping. The wax injection molding machine's molds and other related components are connected to the chiller's outlet and return ports via cooling water pipes, forming a closed cooling loop. During the wax molding process, the chiller continuously circulates low-temperature cooling water, lowering the mold and wax temperatures through heat exchange. For example, some wax injection molding machines are designed with internal cooling water channels. The cooling water flowing through these channels can quickly lower the mold temperature, thereby shortening the wax molding process.
