2. Pre-Operation Preparation and Inspection

1. Personnel Qualifications and Protective Preparations

Operators must undergo professional training and be familiar with the equipment's performance, operating procedures, and safety precautions. They may only begin work after passing the assessment. Before starting work, operators must wear complete protective equipment, including high-temperature-resistant gloves, an insulated apron, goggles, and non-slip work shoes. Scarves, bracelets, and other accessories that could easily become entangled or damaged are strictly prohibited.

2. Equipment Appearance and Environmental Inspection

Inspect the overall appearance of the equipment to confirm that the vessel has no obvious deformation, cracks, or rust, that connecting pipes are not damaged or loose, and that valves open and close freely and are clearly labeled.

Clean the equipment area and ensure that the operating area is free of flammable and explosive items and debris. Ensure at least 1.5 meters of safe operating space is maintained, that ventilation is adequate, and that emergency exits are clear.

Inspect safety warning signs for integrity and legibility. Replace any blurred or missing signs promptly.

3. Core System Pre-Inspection

Pressure System: Verify that the safety valve and pressure gauge are within their calibration validity period, that the dial is clear and undamaged, and that the pointer is reset to zero. Manually test the safety valve to confirm that it trips normally and resets after pressure relief.

Temperature System: Check that the temperature controller, thermocouple, and other temperature measuring components are securely connected and displaying normal activity. Perform a preheat test on the temperature control system to confirm that the temperature display matches the actual heating status.

Interlocking Device: Test the mechanical and electromagnetic interlocks of the kettle door. After closing the door, attempt to open it without releasing pressure to confirm that it cannot be opened. Simulate overpressure and overtemperature conditions to verify that the equipment automatically shuts off heating and triggers an alarm.

4. Water Level and Heating System

For electric heating equipment, verify that the water level gauge displays normally, the water level is within the specified range (generally 1/2-2/3), the water replenishment device is operating properly, the heating tube surface is free of scale and damage, and the wiring terminals are secure and not loose.
